Best Pet For Me

Just because you are allergic to cats and dogs, just because you "can't" have pets in your apartment, just because you don't have a lot of space or time...doesn't mean you can't have a pet. The best pet for me page on my website introduces you to different pets you can have, besides dogs and cats. You can also explore how to care for these various pets best-pet-for-me.html

Rescuing Pets

I'm especially interested in rescuing pets. There are a lof of advantages to getting a rescue pet, rather than going through a breeder or a pet store. You can read more on my adopt a rescue pet page. adopt-a-rescue-pet.html

Rescue Pet News - My Visit to a Cat Cafe

I recently took a trip to Utah to see the wonderful sites there. I went to Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome State Park, and Escalante Petrified Forest State Park, among other interesting sites. When we were in Salt Lake City, we visited a Cat Cafe.

Tinkers Cat Cafe was in a hip part of town where there were thrift stores, restaurants and spas.

We got our drinks in the entrance room and drank them in the cat room. There were cats lounging around and playing. Some were really friendly and some were kind of skittish

The cats were from a local shelter. Some of them are condidered resdients of the cat cafe and others have been adopted. they had a collage on the wall with pictures of cats who have been adopted.

We had a great time at Tinker's Cat Cafe. We got some cat pets in while we were away from our own cats

If you want to learn more about Cat Cafes, go to the Cat Cafe page on my website. Search and you might find one near you! cat-rescue-cafe.html
